- Itenerary
Day 1 – Guwahati to Shillong (112 kms)
At the airport meet our representative who will drive you all the way to Shillong City. Enroute visit Kamakhya Temple and Umiam Lake. Evening free at Leisure.Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2 – Shillong to Cherrapunjee (55 kms)
After breakfast take a drive to Cherrapunjee visit Mattilang Park (View of Elephant Falls), MawkdokDympep Valley. Kindly do not spend much time at Mawkdok as after lunch, you will visit Wahkaba falls (Short Stop) and proceed to Weisawdong Falls, short stop at Deinthlen Falls on the way, Arwah Caves and in the evening overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 3 – Cherrapunjee to Nongriat (12 kms)
Early after Breakfast drive to Tyrna village and get yourself ready for something challenging. Test your Physical ability on the 3000 steps Trekking to the Meghalaya’s pride ‘Double Decker Bridge’ (Living root bridges) and visit the beautiful Rainbow Falls and a natural Pool, evening free at Leisure. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 4 – Cherrapunjee to Mawryngkhang to Mawlynnong (74 kms)
After an Early Breakfast proceed to Shnongpdeng (Umngot River, India’s Cleanest River). Enroute Visit Wahkhen along with the most dangerous bamboo trekking (Mawryngkhang trekking), Visit to Asia’s Cleanest Village Mawlynnong Village (Balancing Rock, Living root bridge and bamboo bridge view point). Overnight Stay at Pongtung.
Day 5 – Pongtung to Amlarem (52 kms) to Shillong (92 kms)
After Breakfast Take an hour drive to Amlarem and Visit the beautiful and mesmerizing Krangsuri Falls then Visit the PhePhe Falls &SuaLudong falls. Later drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 6 – Shillong to Mawphlang (2 7kms) to WahRilang (44 kms)
Early in the Morning after breakfast proceed to visit Mawphlang Scared Groves a forest retained by our forefathers and only has one rule that is not to take anything from the forest, which is known for the traditional believes of the Khasi Culture and one of the most popular scared groves in the state. And later proceed to visit Wah Rilang which is also one of the recently known tourist attraction and less populated which is located in the West Khasi Hills district and on the way you can visit the only hot spring in Meghalaya i.e. in Jakrem. And later travel back to Shillong for an Overnight Stay.
Day 7 – Shillong to KremPuri (64 kms) to Mawlyngbna (13 kms)
Early in the morning after breakfast drive to Mawsynram (the Wettest Place on Earth) to visit KremPuri (Fairytale Cave) on the way visit Mawjymbuin caves and proceed to KremPuri. KremPuri is also known to be the World longest sandstone cave. Later proceed to visit Mawlyngbna one of the famous tourist attraction in Meghalaya. And later travel back to Shillong for an Overnight stay.
Day 8 – Shillong
After Breakfast, visit Laitlum Grand Canyons and while coming back visit Sweet Falls in Mawshubuit and later procced Back to Shillong. In the city visit Phan Nonglait Park and Wards lake. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 9 – Shillong to Guwahati (112 kms)
Early in the morning after Breakfast head to Guwahati for departure.
