Our Story
Named After Our Grandmother — A Woman born in these Hills
Clara was born and raised in Meghalaya. She was adventurous by nature — she travelled the world, saw what it had to offer, and carried the Northeast with her everywhere she went. Not as nostalgia. As a standard.
She was the epitome of warmth — hospitable in every sense of the word. Not as a performance, not as a profession. As a way of being. As something she had absorbed from this land and offered, without calculation, to everyone who came close.
Clara Tours carries her name. Bonnie's Hotel carries her husband's. Everything we build tries to carry their spirit — the warmth, the welcome, the belief that every person who walks through your door deserves to leave feeling full.
